Our view as we pedalled out of Chambery this morning...the first climb of the day.
It's that lump of rock on the right.
We knew it was going to be a big day out.
We rode most of the final mountain stage of this year's Tour de France today.
It's easy to keep on the course.
It's where the new tarmac is being laid.
Some tired punters finishing the last climb of the day.
Total 3400m and about 150km.
Having Hans with us for a few days has definitely raised our
Euro metro male index by a few notches.
Tonight's dinner has been voted the best of the trip.
Think I'll try the steak?
This is the confit de boeuf.
Unbelievably good flavour, despite the challenging foam topping.
