A word from our man at the front...
Watched Stage 10 of the Tour from a little Col about 10 kms out of town, near the Ravitaillement, which is a long French word for Feed Stop.
Just fantastic weather, and most of the French population by the road side.
I guess it's it's the worlds biggest sporting event, and it's free.
Why not.
I can't believe how fast these guys go up hill, they went past me like it was downhill, chatting away.
Even more impressive was the way they went up Col du Grand Colombier!!!, I struggled up there, they were really working but amazing to watch.
After they went past rode back to town and watched the last hour or so at a big sausage and beer tent outside the local bike shop, so saw the last two climbs and the finish.
Pretty impressive, Tommy.
Also pretty impressive, Ritchie Porte.
I'm getting worried about Cadel, L'Equipe are certainly bigging up Wiggo. I suppose he's really an Australian anyway.
I tell you life's tough.
Regards
Lew
