A great day to be in Melbourne last Sunday. Craig Alexander broke the 8 hour mark for an Ironman for the first time in Australia, but more importantly Robbie Hyland made the podium on his first attempt in the event.
His overall time was 9:52 (including a blinding sub 3 hour marathon to finish!) putting him third overall in the Men's 18-24 category. An absolutely fantastic effort.
Ian and Wendy are recovering well.
