Today was a transfer day from Bormio to Merano. The plan to ride there was cancelled due to the weather. This is the windscreen view from the back seat going over Stelvio. A good call we thought.
The town of Merano. Very close to Austria. Schnitzel and fries for lunch.
The afternoon was a gentle 50 km roll down a local bike track to a coffee stop.
Dr Suess was impressed that even the sign bike was fitted with Campagnolo
It's a very Germanic town.
The La Fuga kit is right at home. Ja.

Driving through merano has a special atmosphere. The natur ist brilliant. From hotel val passiria it was not a long way to the hills. I would recommend it to everyone.
