Lew relaxes in the mighty Ovens river after a hard day in the saddle
Many thanks from all of us to Lew for organising the trip up to the Alpine Classic in Bright over this Australia Day Weekend. The bushfires meant the usual 3 peaks of climbing was reduced to hill repeats on Mt Buffalo (one, two or three depending on your level of masochism) but the terrific atmosphere, countryside and good company made it a memorable weekend.
Whilst we all felt we could easily have done a third repeat of the climb, the call of a swim in the river and cold beer as the afternoon heated up was too strong. A great effort by all.

A GREAT weekend.
Weather just about perfect.
A big thank you to the trio of Chef's, Steve(aka Hardman), Tony (FIS) and Jim(who seemed to be able to manage the BBQ without my help).
