For those of us fortunate enough to be leaving for the Pyrenees in the next
few days I have promised to try and run a blog throughout the trip along the
lines of the one we ran last year. It gave a bit of information to those back
home that had any interest, and possibly helped make up for a communication
shortfall from some of our riders on the trip.
Unfortunately the site we used (via iWeb) no longer offers free hosting, so
I’ve been looking for something similar . The best I can come up with is the
Google Blogspot. It’s a bit clunkier and harder to load lots of photos, but it
seems to work ok and it’s free:
Obviously the blog is going to be dependent on the enthusiasm of
the author and the availability of reasonable internet access throughout the
ride. Both of these are potentially dodgy...so I’ll ask for forbearance in
advance.
