The Great Road Climbs of the Alps and Pyrenees by Peter Drinkell (UK)
To
coincide with the start of the Tour de France, Melbourne’s Edmund Pearce Gallery
is staging The Great Road Climbs of the Alps and Pyrenees, an
exhibition showcasing the work of cycling photographer Pete Drinkell.
Shot
over a six-year period, the featured images were captured on Pete’s numerous
excursions into the mountains shooting for Rapha’s ‘Great Road Climbs’ series of
guidebooks.
Celebrating
the terrain which has so often been the duelling ground since the peloton first
entered the Pyrenees and Alps more than a century ago, Rapha would like to
invite you to attend the exhibition’s opening reception, on 27th June.
